A new feature in TikTok allows you to purchase tickets for concerts and events

A new collaboration between TikTok e Ticketmaster introduces a new feature on the hugely popular social, which now allows buying concert tickets ed events in just a few clicks.

The new feature was unveiled yesterday (Wednesday, August 3), and allows creators to add a quick buy button. A sort of mini-ticketing directly from the TikTok app.

Creators who upload a video to TikTok will be able to choose whether to implement a dedicated Ticketmaster button. This will appear on the bottom left of the screen, allowing viewers to purchase tickets for a specific event via an in-app browser.

This is a very convenient feature, especially for musical artists, comedians, sports teams, and theater productions. These will indeed entice your audience to attend upcoming live events.

Currently the new feature is only available to a few select creators, as it is in the testing phase. According to TikTok artists like Demi Lovato, OneRepublic, Usher e i Backstreet Boys they are already posting content using the new button. We can expect a full-scale release of the feature in the near future.

Meanwhile TikTok is working on a proprietary music streaming platform. The social network seems to want to take on an increasingly important role in the music and entertainment industry.
