A player recreated Howl’s moving castle in Fallout 76

Radical Rux is a Fallout 76 player who wanted to pay homage to the animated film Howl’s Moving Castle by recreating… well by recreating Howl’s moving castle. The user posted his creation on Twitter, wowing the network and, we admit, wowing us too.

The building was made using functionality Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform (CAMP), among the most appreciated features of Fallout 76, a game developed by Bethesda and released in 2018.

Howl’s Castle represents the home of the wizard Howl, one of the most beloved characters of the animated film Howl’s Moving Castle, released in 2005 with the original title of Howl’s Moving Castle. The film, directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli, is based on Diana’s 1986 novel of the same name Wynne Jones. Meanwhile Fallout 76 has turned out to be one of John Carpenter’s favorite games as well. The legendary director, during an interview with the New Yorker, said:

“I’ve been playing this game for a while, it’s called Fallout 76. Fallout games are fun, with their post-apocalyptic world. This game [Fallout 76, ndr] had a rough launch, with glitches and bugs, but I really like it. And then there’s this amazing game called Horizon Forbidden West. Amazing game.”
