ADATA introduces the M.2 2280 PCIe SSDs of the LEGEND series

ADATA: the new M.2 2280 PCIe SSDs of the LEGEND series arrive

ADATA, manufacturer of high-performance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, mobile accessories, gaming products and industrial solutions has announced a new range of solid state drives (SSDs). It is about the series ADATA LEGEND, geared to creators of different needs and budgets. There are ADATA LEGEND 740, 750 and 840.

The LEGEND 740 and the 750 they use PCIe Gen3 x4 and NVMe 1.3 to deliver sequential read and write speeds up to 2,500 / 2,000 and 3,500 / 3,000 mb / s, respectively, to give creators the performance they need to create without limitations. Their M.2 2280 specification supports the latest Intel and AMD platforms for creations on the latest PCs, including desktops and laptops. For users who need a higher boost, the LEGEND 840 takes advantage of PCIe Gen4 x4 and NVMe 1.4 thus offering read and write speeds of up to 5,000 / 4,500 mb / s.

The models LEGEND 740, 750 e 840 they feature “SLC Caching” and “Host Memory Buffer” technology for uninterrupted productivity. This provides them with 4K random read speeds of up to 180K / 200K, 480K / 260K, and 440K / 400K IOPS, respectively. In terms of capacity, the LEGEND series goes up to 1TB of capacity.

All three SSDs come with a sober and elegant sink. The heatsinks not only look great, they also help keep temperatures down to 15% low for optimal performance and stability. The LEGEND 840 it can also be installed on a PS5 as a secondary drive, giving users more storage space and faster load times.
