Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is one of the most challenging games for the Nintendo Switch. Despite its childish appearance, this tactical strategy game has some levels that are famous for their difficulty… but none more so than “Rivals”.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp: how to unlock the Rivals secret mission
“Rivals” is the name of the 25th mission of the Advance Wars campaign (the first). But the story ends in mission 24, The Final Battle.
In order to unlock the secret mission, You will have to pass all the alternative missions of the campaign. When you beat the story, the rest of the alternative missions that you did not complete before will open on the map. That is to say:
- Missions 7, 8, 9 and 10 with Andy or with Max (in Blue Moon)
- Missions 18, 19, 20 and 21 with Andy, Max or with Sami (in Green Earth)
That is, you will have to pass 11 additional missions after The Final Battle in order to unlock Rivals, which is equivalent to 97% of the campaign.
The good thing is that it doesn’t matter the difficulty (Relaxed or Classic) and the range with which you complete them: the secret mission will open at the end… and be careful, it is a mission famous for its difficulty, in which you appear with only three units, and you must conquer the cities and bases in the center of the map.
