They will start next March 9, in Budapest, the filming of the new movie Alien. Film project born from the brilliant mind of the director, Ridley Scott way back in 1978; finally sees on the big screen the return of one of the most terrifying creatures in the sci-fi universe.

This time the ninth chapter will be written and directed by the Uruguayan director Fede Alvarez (already known for directing the remake Evil Dead, in 2013); flanked by a very young cast including, Cailee Spaeny (first lead to be announced) opposite David Jonsson; Archie Renaux; Isabella Merced; Spike Fearn E Aileen Wu.

After years of uncertainty about the future of the next chapter in the saga created by Ridley Scott; the ninth film is officially in the works. Only recently, the production house 20th Century Studios; he had exclusively communicated a few more details on the possible plot (at the moment still unknown):

As revealed by external sources, the new chapter directed by Fede Alvarez, an independent narrative line will follow compared to previous feature films. Further details on the possible release date or plot have not been revealed yet. In addition to being produced by 20th Century Studios, the film is co-executively produced by Scott Free by Ridley Scott, joined by Michael Pruss, Brent O’Connor, Elizabeth Cantillon and Tom Moran.
