AMD announces the Adrenaline Edition and FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0

AMD announces the arrival of its new suite AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition and introduces the next upscaling technology FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0. To improve the performance and visual fidelity of your games.

The new AMD Software suite offers improved performance and reliability. Also, it increases the download speed of the drivers and brings the Toast notifications when starting the game. But there are also many new or improved features. How AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR), which offers near-native resolution compatible with thousands of full screen games. This technology is based on the same algorithms as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution. And it’s exclusive to AMD RNA combat cards and the latest discrete graphics.

AMD Link Play allows four users to connect to a PC with an AMD Radeon graphics card from a PC, phone, tablet or TV, Android or Windows. A new way to play local multiplayer, with all the flexibility you could want. But there is also Radeon Image Sharpening (RIS) to make processed images crisp and clear, which you can also use for video playback and other productivity applications as well. All with one simple click.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 instead it uses temporal data and optimized anti-aliasing to drive up the framerate. But the image quality remains the same, with no need for dedicated ML hardware. FSR 2.0 also works with various AMD GPU models but also with competitor graphics cards.
