This week AMD celebrated the fifth anniversary of the range Ryzen. On the occasion of the celebrations, a video interview which traces the recent history of the AMD Ryzen range. The protagonists of the interview are the CMO of AMD John Taylor e Robert Hallock, director of technical marketing. The video also teases new details on the future of Ryzen products.
With the Ryzen range, AMD has set new standards for the industry in these 5 years. On the occasion of the celebrations, the company also anticipated some news for the future. It has been confirmed, for example, commitment to the development of Zen architecture in order to maintain leadership in terms of performance, efficiency, connectivity, process and packaging.
In the first half of next year, the 3D V-cache which will bring a 15% increase in performance on the AM4 platform. The socket AM5instead, it will arrive in 2022 with next-gen connectivity – DDR5, PCIe Gen 5, the latest I / O standards and compatibility with current AM4 coolers. The company also confirmed that it is working on several projects to continue improving its product range over time.
