AMD releases Radeon PRO Software Q3

AMD announced Radeon PRO Software for Enterprise Q3, the product that provides a 16% YoY geomean performance increase year-on-year across all benchmark workflows and delivers increased application efficiency, reliability and productivity.

AMD, the features of Radeon PRO Software Q3:

Four features and benefits, innovations that include:

• Constant performance improvements – Compared to Radeon Software for Enterprise 20.Q3, this driver provides significant performance increases, including a 48% increase for the Catia viewset and a 12% increase for the 3dsmax viewset.
• Additional AMD Remote Workstation support – Combined with leading remote viewing solutions, AMD Remote Workstation reliably reproduces workstation graphics on remote desktops, allowing users to be productive from anywhere. The new driver offers support for Teradici CAS (Cloud Access Software), based on current support for VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Remote Desktop and HP ZCentral Remote Boost.
• Professional Application Certification – AMD confirms its commitment to the development of certified drivers for professional applications. Certification provides enterprise-grade reliability for applications such as 3dsMax, Revit, Catia, SOLIDWORKS, and many more.
• AMD Radeon PRO Viewport Image Boost – Compatible with Revit and 3ds Max, this feature scales the resolution of the model in the viewport area to ensure faithful reproduction of images and allow users to make better design choices.

Not only Radeon PRO Software Q3

AMD also announced support for AMD Radeon Graphics and AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin drivers for Microsoft’s recently released production version of TensorFlow-DirectML, which enables machine learning paths on Windows-based systems.
AMD partnered with Microsoft to optimize GPU-accelerated ML training using the production version of TensorFlow-DirectML on AMD graphics hardware, achieving a performance increase of up to 4.4x over TensorFlow-DirectML preview version testing that Microsoft released last year.
