Amdocs presents the forum Donne in Tech to strengthen the female representation in the sector of technology in Italy. Let’s find out all the details together.

Amdocs presenta Donne in Tech

Business and political leaders gathered in Rome for the presentation of the new initiative designed to bring a greater number of women in Italy to a career in tech field and to give voice to those who already work in the industry.

The goal of Women in Tech is create a group of professionals who can share their stories, however motivation e inspire the careers of girls and other women. The long-term program provides networking sessions e mentoring; there will also be debates with the tech students to talk about personal branding and so on.

At the launch event, which took place in Rome, a round table was held in which theinequality gender and many other topics. Among the guests of the panel instead we find:

• Lisa from Sevo – President of SheTech;
• Valentina Tranquilli – COO of Cookies Digital (recently named among the 50 Inspiring Firty in Italy);
• Liliana Fratini Steps – Managing Director di CBI e Woman in Fintech of the Year 2021;
• Sabrina Sansonetti – former President of InnovaPuglia SPA.

Judith Yampolskythe Head of HR at Amdocs, said:

Recent research has shown that women are under-represented in technology in Italy: only 3 out of 10 workers in the sector are women. Amdocs is growing in the Italian tech market and, with a historic focus on gender equality, we want to play an active role in helping to heal the gender gap in Italy.
