Amiibo in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: this is all the amiibo figures unlock

if you have a figure amiibo from The Legend of Zelda, you will be able to use them in the new Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. For this game, they range from the first Link figure, from the Smash Bros. for Wii U series, released in 2014, to the newest Link amiibo from Tears of the Kingdom, released at the same time as the game.

As in Breath of the Wild, scanning an amiibo figure will give us cosmetic items, such as clothing or skins for the parasail, as well as some resources. Nothing that unbalances the game (it’s not a pay to win, far from it), but it is worth using them.

Below we tell you the key items that each amiibo unlocks. Although some also give resources, such as mushrooms, rupees or weapons, we are going to focus on the most exclusive objects. This is the easiest way to get them, although many of these items are available to get by exploring the game.

What amiibo figures unlock in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You will be able to use the amiibo shortly after starting the game. Press L to open the skill wheel, and you will see the amiibo icon.

Next, you will have to scan the amiibo by placing it on top of the right stick of the Joy-Con or Pro Controller (many unofficial remotes do not have an NFC reader). Make sure you don’t have airplane mode turned on.
