Andrea Pirlo enters the metaverse with The Hero NFT

The Sandboxin collaboration with the incubator NFT of Kiev Ikonialeads into the metaverse ihe mural celebrating the icon of Italian football, Andrea Pirlo. The mural is located at 188 Lafayette Street in New York and was painted by the famous Italian street artist Jorit. The project is sold as a single edition NFT resulting, therefore, an exclusive product for the owner.

The new NFT made by The Sandbox in collaboration with Ikonia is called The Hero NFT. This NFT allows the buyer to own the real mural for one year, in addition to the perpetual digital rights on the street art work. For the occasion, Ikonia has recreated a stretch of Lafayette Street with MetaLabs which also includes the Pirlo mural created by Jorit in The Sandbox.

It should also be noted that, in addition to The Hero NFT, several other collectibles will be available, including examples of animated art, videos and sculptures available to Andrea Pirlo’s fans. Buyers will have the opportunity to access a bonus lottery with a chance to win. 1 15-minute Zoom call with Pirlo and four guests, 8 personalized video messages from Pirlo, 16 autographed Pirlo shirts and 32 autographs from the player.
