The long-awaited next-gen releases of Apex Legends they are almost there. Respawn Entertainment will release native PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions of the battle royale in conjunction with the Warriors Collection event. All three consoles will support 4K output and full 60Hz gameplay, as well as HDR.
The versions PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X they are achieving higher resolution shadow maps and greater detail level distances. Some features that players might expect early will arrive in the patch future. These include support for the gameplay a 120 Hzadaptive triggers and haptic feedback on PS5, as well as audio and visual enhancements.
Not having ai support 120 fps at launch it might be a disappointment for some, given the fast pace of Apex Legends games and the fact that the developers have long debated that feature as one of their targets for current-gen releases.
However, with the arrival of the native PS5 and Xbox Series X / S editions, it should be a little easier for developers to roll out updates across all platformsso hopefully it won’t be long before support for this game mode is added.
Thanks to Microsoft’s Smart Delivery technology, the Xbox Series X/S of Apex Legends should download automatically, if you have the Xbox One edition installed. PS5 players will instead have to manually download their console version from the options menu on the Apex Legends game page or from the PSN store if they don’t have the PS4 edition on their system.
