Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids has been postponed

Yet another news, yet another postponement in these two difficult years for the whole industry: even the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, called the Wrath of the Druids, has been postponed, find out with us when

If 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, was the year of postponements, this 2021 will certainly not be outdone. It is news of a few days ago, for example, the postponement of Deathloop by Arkane Studios, but the most calming case of last year was Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. In short, the entire videogame industry is suffering from having to work from home, with different rhythms and, above all, a certainly less stimulating work environment. Apparently even Ubisoft, one of the most prolific and rewarding companies in recent years, is not exempt from these problems. And this time it’s one of its flagship franchises, Assassin’s Creed, that has suffered from it.

It is news of the past few hours, in fact, that the first official DLC of the last iteration of the series, Valhalla, which was to be released on April 29th, has been postponed. However, the company immediately gave a new official release date, May 13, exactly two weeks of difference. The reason, quite obvious, is that the development team still needs some time to refine some details and to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids has been postponed, here is the new release date!

Wrath of the Druids is the first major expansion of Ubisoft’s post-launch support for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, the plans of which have been known for some time. The DLC will put you in the shoes of Eivor, who this time will find himself in a new adventure set in Ireland, against a druidic cult known as the Sons of Danu. The experience, typical of Assassin’s Creed, aims to expand it both at a narrative and gameplay level, offering new weapons, armor and much more.

We are sorry to tell you, but the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, Wrath of the Druids, has been officially postponed for two weeks, until May 13th. What do you think of the new title of the Ubisoft franchise? Write it to us below in the comments, we will continue to keep you updated with all the news on videogame and tech!
