ASUS Republic of Gamers announces ROG Azoth

ROG’s first 75% wireless custom gaming keyboard featuring an exclusive gasket mount design, tri-mode connectivity, OLED display and hot-swappable ROG NX mechanical switches

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced ROG Azoth, the first keyboard custom gaming wireless in formato 75% manufactured by ROG, packed with features usually only found on premium do-it-yourself keyboards. ROG Azoth has a built-in 2-inch OLED panel which can show various useful information, from the operating status of the keyboard to the activation of the Caps Lock, from the selected connection mode to the PC / Mac mode indicators.

But that’s not all, as it also allows you to view: battery level and multimedia information, an audio oscilloscope and customized animations, as well as various system parameters, such as CPU temperature. Intuitive adjustments and setting changes can also be made via the convenient three-way control knob and dedicated button.

Esclusivo design gasket mount

Il design premium con 10 silicone gaskets and three layers of shock-absorbing foam give ROG Azoth a feeling of absolute comfort in use and excellent acoustics. A durable 3.5 mm thick silicone pad built into the keyboard absorbs noise, while the PORON foam helps reduce pings and echoes within the keyboard. The silicone foam covered base further eliminates any possible echoes and provides a flat surface to more effectively accommodate the PORON foam.

Switch meccanici ROG NX

The switches employed in the ROG Azoth keyboard are ROG NX mechanical switches and have stems and base housings pre-lubricated to provide a smoother click feel and eliminate spring rebound noise. The force curves have been carefully tuned by ROG and, together with the fast-actuation design, ensure excellent and consistent feel when pressing keys.

Switches are of type hot-swappable to offer further customization options and thus ensure a truly unique and personalized feel. ROG stabilizers are pre-lubricated and specially developed for gaming: Produce less friction, allowing even long keys like the Spacebar, Shift, and Enter key to stay true to the original feel of the switch. The spacebar also boasts extra lubrication and refinements to ensure optimized acoustics and feel.

The key design has been optimized with medium-height keycaps and a shorter stem to reduce bouncing and provide a more comfortable typing experience. ROG Azoth is the ideal keyboard for those who want to approach the world of “do-it-yourself” custom keyboards. Therefore, all the essential elements are already included in the package, including the lubrificante Krytox GPL-205-GD0three additional switches and keycaps, switch extractors, a switch opener, and a lube rack for the switches.

Tri-mode connectivity and other features
