Today the ATP company unveiled its brand new high-strength M.2 2230 SSDs to the public
ATP Electronics, (here for more about the company) is a world leader in specialized storage and memory solutions. Today it unveiled its latest solid state drives (SSDs) flash storage 3D triple-level cell (TLC). The series N700 to N600, which support PCIe 3.0 high-speed x4 lane interface and NVMe protocol. The new SSDs offer hardware-based security features, such as write protection and quick wipe, based on the design and customer request. Enabled via the general input / output pins (GPIO), HW Write Protect puts the SSD in “Read Only” mode, thus preventing any modification or tampering of stored data. HW Quick Erase, on the other hand, initiates a block-by-block data pattern write operation to systematically erase any trace of user data.
Available as modules M.2 2230, offer better energy efficiency and are suitable for applications using small and light systems. As systems point-of-sale (POS), Mobile PCsdevices Internet of Things (IoT) and server startup applications. The series N700 to N600 they house a spherical grid heat sink array (HSBGA) on the M.2 2230 form factor. In addition, ATP has also thought about customers who prefer a welded and vibration resistant solution. Indeed, ATP also offers SSD M.2 Type 1620 HSBGA with the same firmware and NAND configuration.
The N700 series is configured as flash NAND pseudo single-level cell (pSLC) for increased reliability and durability. It is available in capacities of 40/80/160 GB. It supports I-Temp ranges from -40 ° C to 85 ° C (N700Si) and C-Temp from 0 ° C to 70 ° C (N700Sc) and offers maximum life up to 4,280 TB.
The N600 series in TLC native is available in capacities of 120/240/480 GB. It supports C-Temp operating temperatures from 0 ° C to 70 ° C and offers a maximum life of up to 768 TB. The N700 / N600 series SSDs are built and thoroughly tested for withstand the demands of industrial applications even under difficult operating conditions.
