Avatar – The road of the water: out the final trailer

The official final trailer of the film Avatar – The via dell’acqua, the highly anticipated film by James Cameron was released a few hours ago

After a long wait, one of the most spectacular films ever created is finally back on the big screen: Avatar. The sequel to the first chapter, which will be called Avatar – The Water Way, will arrive in theaters in December, but some anticipation can be gathered from the trailers that have been published. The last one is from a few hours ago.

Plot and cast of Avatar – The road of the water

Avatar: The Water Route is set more than ten years after the events of the first film. The new chapter tells the adventures of the Sully family, the dangers that Jake, Neytiri and their children will encounter, but also the incredible strength that unites them and allows them to protect each other. They will be forced to fight hard battles to survive and face enormous tragedies.

As with the previous Avatar, the film will be directed by James Cameronfamous, as well as for this saga, also for having written, directed, co-produced and co-edited one of the best known films of all time: Titanic (1997).

In the cast of Avatar – The road of the water we will find Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet and Stephen Lang.

The past and future of Avatar

Many remember the extraordinary success that the first Avatar film received, released in 2009. The film, winner of three Academy Awards, was a success with audiences and criticsestablishing a top grossing in motion picture history, grossing nearly $3 billion at the box office.

After this unmissable second outing, the story about the Na’vi people probably won’t stop there. James Cameron has in fact confessed that he is planning a third chapterscheduled for December 2024. The story could then continue with Avatar 4 in 2026 and Avatar 5designed for 2028. To talk about sequels, however, we will have to wait for the public’s response to the second chapter.

Who knows if Avatar – La via dell’acqua will be able to obtain the same success as the first film, released well 13 years ago. We’ll find out shortly. In fact, there are only 3 weeks that separate us from the new film, which will return to Italian cinemas on December 14, 2022.
