AVM presented the FRITZ! Box 4060 and the FRITZ! Box 6850, its two brand new home routers with Wi-Fi 6 and 5G technology

With the slogan “Gigabit Power. Smart Wi-Fi “, AVM will present al Broadband World Forum (BBWF) solutions for home networks with broadband connections. The new tri-band wireless router will be presented FRITZ!Box 4060. The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX for DSL, the FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber compatible with all common FTTH fiber optic connections in Europe and the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 tri-band, with Mesh and Wi-Fi 6 to integrate even more devices into the network and take advantage of even larger areas. AVM also presents the new FRITZ!Box 6850 5G: an all-in-one router for the 5G for a top-notch connection on the mobile network and at the same time stable.

Here are the features of the new FRITZ! by AVM

AVM’s FRITZ! Box 4060 is AVM’s first tri-band wireless router for Wi-Fi 6, perfect for cascade connection to a fiber optic modem or to be used directly with the ONT provided by the operator. The FRITZ! Box is equipped with tking radio unit and 12 antennas that allow to reach a Wi-Fi data transmission speed fino a 6 Gbit/s. Smartphones, notebooks, smart TVs and all mobile devices connected to the network benefit from the Wi-Fi 6, which guarantees fast and stable connections. Paired with the tri-band FRITZ! Repeater 6000, the new FRITZ! Box 4060 can create a sistema Mesh, ideal for Wi-Fi on large surfaces and for multiple devices. The FRITZ! Box 4060 is equipped with a 2.5 gigabit WAN connection, plus three additional gigabit LAN ports and a USB 3.0 port. Furthermore, the FRITZ! Box 4060 is the first model of the FRITZ! Box 4000 series to support the DECT, useful for connecting cordless or compatible home automation devices. Other features include the typical functions of FRITZ! Box products such as the parental control, a media server for photos, music and videos, as well as Wi-Fi guest access and remote access via MyFRITZ !.

The FRITZ! Box 6850 5G, on the other hand, is AVM’s new device for fast Internet over the use of the latest generation mobile networks. Thought to provide one stable and fast connection even in digital divide areas and where it is not possible to have sufficient bandwidth. Thanks to 5G, the fifth generation technology standard for mobile networks, it is now possible to achieve gigabit speeds even wirelessly. Equipped with all the features that make FRITZ!
