For the video games coming out in August, let’s start immediately with Immortality, a truly fascinating investigative. Actress Marissa Marcel is missing: it’s up to you to find out what happened and find her again. Immortality uses the use of full-motion video to examine clips from movies, behind-the-scenes production footage, and interviews to find items and people of interest and solve the mystery. Now let’s talk about another title with an unmistakable style: Sword and Fairy: Together Forever. The Sword and Fairy series debuted in 1995, but Together Forever presents itself as a standalone action RPG based on Chinese mythology. An adventure and an extraordinary journey between divinities, Devas and mysterious characters, and a struggle between heaven and earth to discover the causes. Among the new releases also Cult of the Lamb, which will put you in the shoes of… a possessed lamb. To repay a debt he will have to build a community of adoring faithful and spread his Word to become the only true cult of the lamb god, in a crescendo of madness and adrenaline.
Bokura, puzzle adventure game playable only if there are two of you. The players will play the role of two kids who ran away from home and headed for “a distant place”. Finally, among the August releases we point out Arcade Paradise a decidedly bizarre title with a nostalgic flavor. Try it with this title, a mix between management and arcade!
For the series “welcome returns” comes Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, a remastered version of the famous title this time also available on PC! If you are nostalgic, the Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 3 pack is coming for you, which includes La Pucelle: Ragnarok and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. Both games received graphical improvements such as in-game image optimization, but more specifically La Pucelle: Ragnarok received some exclusive additions: new recruitable characters, unique scenarios, new music tracks and voice acting lines. We conclude the remaster parenthesis with Pac-Man World Re-Pac, a remastered version that supports a full-screen HD version of the original game and introduces new game modes. These include Mission, Labyrinth – which brings back the classic gameplay in some 3D mazes – and Original, which is a full version of the original game that can be unlocked by completing the main mode. Finally, in August 2022 also the Saints Row reboot. Santo Ileso is under the control of three criminal gangs: Los Panteros, the Idols and Marshall Defense Industries. As “The Boss”, a former member of the Marshall Defense Industries, you will need to recruit members for your new gang and take control of the city.
