Bethesda: Is one of the studios of the giant working on a new game based on a comic?

On Twitter, a user reported how some LinkedIn profiles allude to an alleged new Bethesda game not yet announced

There is certainly no shortage of AAA games coming up these days based on large licensed properties and it is therefore not surprising that there may be other similar projects in the works that we do not know anything about yet (at least officially). One of them, apparently, is the alleged new game developed by Roundhouse Studios, owned by Bethesda (and Microsoft, in turn), which was previously called Human Head Studios (and “reformed” under controversial circumstances). Let’s see all the details about it in the next lines of this article.

Bethesda: here are all the details on the allegedly mysterious new game in production at Roundhouse Studios

As reported on Twitter by user @ FaizShaikh7681, the LinkedIn profile of a developer of Roundhouse Studios (property of Bethesda) suggests that, prior to the closure of Human Head Studios, the development team was working on a new game PvPvE based on team play. In particular, the project should correspond to one shooter impeller on Unreal Engine 4 and based on “an important comics license“. The short description of the title in question on the LinkedIn profile puts an emphasis on “player movement, weapons, status effects, game modes” and “AI for a variety of creatures in the game world”.

Interestingly, another developer profile Roundhouse mentions that this unannounced title, which began development in 2019, is still in the works, with the study currently appearing to take longer 50 developers.

There are, of course, many questions and virtually no certainty. With Human Head being closed and reformed as Roundhouse Studios, it’s not certain if the same project is in the works, especially considering how vague the information is in this particular case. If it’s the same project, it remains to be seen how much it will have changed since it came under the auspices of Bethesda. As for the latter projects, it looks like the next The Elder Scrolls it won’t be a Microsoft exclusive (or at least it won’t be forever). On StarfieldInstead, a video diary was recently released with the background of the development, more details about it here.

We will keep you updated on all future developments in this regard. In the meantime, always stay tuned to TechGameWorld.com for all the news and curiosities from the world of gaming and beyond.
