Blackmagic Design presented ATEM Television Studio HD8, a new line of live production switchers that combines broadcast functions in a portable design. With a control of functions such as streaming and recording, it can connect up to eight remote cameras.
Blackmagic Design’s new switcher enables professional live production: a switcher with an integrated broadcast control panel, portable and designed for professionals. Locations that do not have wardrobes or mobile control vehicles are no longer a problem.
Con eight standard-converted SDI inputs, two auxiliary outputs, four chroma keys, two secondary keys, SuperSource, two media players and tons of transitions, gives great flexibility. In addition, it offers many TV studio functions such as streaming hardware, recording, audio mixer, talkback, multiview and optional internal cloud storage. Then there is one ISO model che records all eight inputs for editing purposes.
Then there are ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyer, Fairlight audio mixer, DVE and a graphics archive. Using ATEM Software Control, gFree for both Mac and Windows, you can then access many other features.
Grant Petty, Blackmagic Design CEO comments: “The new ATEM Television Studio HD8 switchers are unrivaled in their breadth of features and incredibly compact design. We have succeeded in not compromising on quality and have built broadcast-grade high-end switchers with control panels, innovative audio mixing, and built-in streaming and recording functions. They are amazing!”
ATEM Television Studio HD8 is available now starting from US$2.995, from dealers all over the world – including Italy. You can find more information here.
