BMW Group closes the first half of 2021 with excellent results. The company has delivered over 1.33 million vehicles worldwide, considering its brands (BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce). For the Bavarian group, this result translates into a growth of +39.1% compared to the data recorded in the first half of last year, a period heavily influenced by the pandemic. In addition, in the second quarter of 2021, the company delivered 702,000 vehicles with an improvement of + 44% compared to the previous year. To be reported further 153 thousand electrified vehicles deliveredi (+ 148%) in the half year.
The first half of 2021 closes with excellent financial data for the BMW Group. The company records revenues of 55,360 million euros (+ 28.1%, corrected for currency factors: + 31.1%). The group closed the semester with a net profit of 7,623 million euros and with an EBT margin of 17.6%.
During the quarter ended June 30, the group delivered 617,000 BMW vehicles and 83,000 MINI vehicles. Rounding out the sales are 1,609 units of Rolls-Royce. On the European market, on the other hand, the group recorded a first half of + 35% of units sold.
