Converse and Pokémon launch a new clothing line

Converse just announced a themed collaboration Pokémon, on the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the pocket monsters. The limited edition shoes feature decals representing the series’ most beloved Pokémon, such as the three original Kanto starters, Bulbasaur, Squirtle e Charmander, Pikachu e Jigglypuff. In addition to shoes Converse has also launched a line of themed accessories.

The famous brand first showed two variants of the Chuk Taylor model. The first is the one that sports the three Kanto starters accompanied by Pikachu and Jigglypuff, the second instead is completely white and shows a wide range of pocket creatures with the icon of a Poké Ball which replaces the brand with the star that symbolizes the company. Both shoes are available for both adults and children.

But Converse didn’t stop at footwear for this collaboration and added to the offering too sweatshirts, sweaters and t-shirts. The line of sweatshirts is based on electric-type Pokémon, with Pikachu being the master, while the protagonist of the sweaters is Jigglypuff. As for the t-shirts instead, Converse has guaranteed a large amount of choice among the creatures represented.

The company also took the opportunity to advertise a special experience of self-design based on Converse By You, which uses the company’s digital customization tool to create custom Pokémon-themed designs. Pokéfans can choose from their favorite Kanto starters by choosing their own colors, designs, and so on.
