Dark Souls 3 raggiunge i 60 frame su Xbox Series X/S

Thanks to FPS Boost, Dark Souls 3 finally reaches the goal of the longed-for 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X / S

The title developed by From Software, Dark Souls 3, is the latest arrival among the productions able to benefit fromFPS Boost, so as to finally reach the long-awaited 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X / S. This allows the console release Microsoft to equalize the technical performance of PS5, which for some time, thanks to backward compatibility, allowed you to play the Japanese title without any hitch as regards the general fluidity of the action.

Second Jason Ronald, partner director of the team’s program management Xbox, implement theFPS Boost required, in the specific case of the production signed by From Software, a unique technique, so as to allow the game to reach greater fluidity both on Xbox Series X and on Xbox Series S. It also took advantage of the opportunity to openly thank both the Japanese team and Bandai Namco for support provided. Unfortunately, no update has affected the video resolution, which remains confirmed at 900p, the same as the original release for Xbox One.

Dark Souls 3 it was originally released way back March of 2016, on PS4, PC and Xbox One, receiving critical acclaim for its combat system, visual impact and overall game world design. TO May 2020 it was estimated that 10 million units were sold, with the entire series able to achieve the 27 million units sold. From Software is currently working on Elden Ring, whose gameplay was unveiled just a few weeks ago, and whose release date is set for early next year.
