Demand for fast delivery from e-commerce is growing: PonyU data

The sector records a growth of 32.4% (data from 2020) exploiting the effects of the pandemic period. Food delivery plays an important role and, due to its very fast standards, has “educated” the customer who now expects rapid deliveries in other sectors as well. Consumers who take advantage of e-commerce, according to PonyU, tend to abandon the cart when the delivery time is too long or unknown. This behavior is seen in nearly half of consumers.

It is therefore necessary to adopt a logistics strategy adequate to the standards required by customers.
