Digimon World: Next Order is available on Nintendo Switch and PC

We won’t be “together with Davis, Yolei, Cody, Kari and TK”, but Digimon World: Next Order is still waiting for us on Nintendo Switch and PC… starting today!

Although known mainly for the excellent anime, the franchise born as a “rival by chance of Pokémon” today makes its return on Nintendo Switch (e PC) con Digimon World: Next Order. The title, for those not aware of it, is a RPG and sees the digital world (Digiworld, for those who remember the aforementioned series) fall into chaos. Our task, as Digiprescelti, will be to prevent the destruction of the world by a virus. The latter is able to transform any digital creature into a copy of Machinedramon, which falls within the most powerful and destructive rank of virtual little monsters (the Mega Level, as fans will remember).

Nintendo Switch and PC, two new digital worlds for Digimon World: Next Order

Ports of Digimon World: Next Order introduce additional features. In fact, a newborn girl is expected “beginner mode” with which to gain experience more easily with the historic Bandai Namco franchise for newbies accustomed to the red and white spheres. In addition, the movement in the game world has received a very welcome speed increase, in order to make the exploration phases of the Digital World more fluid. But words take their time when it comes to a title of this caliber. It’s definitely better to show you a trailer for the game directly!

Together with two companions, players will also have the opportunity to recruit over 200 Digimon they come across, then feed and train them. Digivolution, on the other hand, must be earned. The title offers a balanced experience between exploration, training, management and, of course, combat as well. In all of this the city of Floatia will act as a central hub, and it will be up to the player to make it flourish and populate it with the Digimon themselves. The same also includes the improvements to be made to buildings, as well as the management of agriculture (a must, on the console) and the evolution of the city from a village to an authentic metropolis.

Now it’s up to you to tell us yours: what do you think of the game? Let us know belowand as always, don’t forget to stay on TechGameWorld.com for all the most important news for gamers and more.
