Elden Ring: 15 beautiful minutes of gameplay shown

The presentation of From Software has just finished in which 15 minutes of Elden Ring gameplay were shown, the highly anticipated soulslike title coming out next year: what was shown?

There are titles that are so important, so emblematic and representative of an entire generation that it is often difficult to talk about them. Elden Ring will almost certainly be one of them. A From Software in great shape is what all action-jrpg gamers would want, and a Bloodborne Remastered, but in this case I think we’re asking too much. In the past few hours, the collector’s edition has been the victim of a leak and has clearly shown itself when it shouldn’t have been, and just yesterday the company had confirmed that it wanted to show, today, 15 minutes of gameplay of the highly anticipated title. And so it was: naked and raw gameplay. A narrative voice that gives small bits of information in the background, fighting, blood and exploration.

The gameplay we leave it below, in the middle of the article, and we must admit that there is little new relevant information. The beauty of this trailer is to see Elden Ring at work, in a mixture of inspiration, aesthetics and game mechanics that take from all the titles of From Software. From Bloodborne to Sekiro, obviously passing through the three chapters of Dark Souls, Elden Ring is terribly inspired and… authorial. Miyazaki’s hand is clear and we couldn’t ask for better. The trailer shows practically all the mechanics already mentioned in recent months from the various previews and interviews released, from the presence of the horse that can be conducted on virtually any surface, the possibility of using the world map (of which we will have to find the fragments scattered around complete it) and much more. Let’s review it together.

Elden Ring shows itself in a truly exceptional gameplay trailer

Several gameplay scenes are shown, many of which are obviously combat. We move from one-on-one clashes, which seemed rather fluid and full of bite, to stealth sections clearly taken by Sekiro, but expanded by the use of the bow. Also shown are some minibosses and an artistically exalted final boss as well a decent variety of base enemies. The possibility of summoning gods is also detailed spirits who can be of help in battle, as well as the spirit that will guide us, in the form of light, to the next plot destination. In short, nothing particularly new at a general level, but it’s really nice to finally be able to see the next pearl from From Software at work.

We remind you that the title will arrive next February 22 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | Yes, that pre-orders are open and that the Collector’s Edition is really nice.
