Elon Musk, who co-founded OpenAI (a company he created ChatGPT) may soon launch its own AI chatbot. This is suggested by the portal The Information, which reports that the owner of Twitter would be about to create a research laboratory to develop applications based on artificial intelligence. According to Cnet, the entrepreneur has already contacted Igor Babuschkina researcher who in the past also worked on DeepMind AI, the artificial intelligence of Google Alphabet.
Recall that Elon Musk had been the co-founder, along with Sam Altman, by OpenAI. The latter has literally exploded in recent months, after a successful launch ChatGPT, chatbots capable of simulating humanoid conversations. Musk was president of OpenAI for three years, until 2018. In that year, the tycoon decided to resign to focus on other projects.
But Elon Musk isn’t the only entrepreneur aiming to launch his own AI chatbot. The biggest tech giants are in fact already working to launch their own version of ChatGPT. Googlefor example, has already announced Google BardWhile Microsoft has launched a beta of Bing Chat. Just this morning Meta instead, he announced that he will create a division dedicated to the development of an AI chatbot to be implemented on Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
