EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN GPU overclocked to nearly 3GHz, 24Gbps memory with LN2 cooling at over 1200W power, breaks multiple world records
Yes, the rumors about the new one have been confirmed EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 The KINGPIN. The GPU is almost overclocked 3 GHzmemory to 24 Gbps con LN2 cooling to over 1200 W of power. EVGA (for more info click here) has truly created a GPU that seems born to break all world records.
L’South Korean overclocker, Biso Biso, Team EVGA absolutely crushed various GPU world records with the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN graphics card. The crazy results show the huge amount of power encased within NVIDIA’s flagship graphics card when subjected to extreme cooling with unlimited power limits.
EVGA’s overclocker pushes the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN graphics card to nearly 3 GHz OC GPU, 24 Gbps of memory with LN2 cooling. Famous overclockers such as OGS Team Galax and Rauf tried to claim the top spots with the graphics card GeForce RTX 3090 Ti HOF OC LAB edition. But there was nothing to be done, EVGA overcame them with their recent madness LN2 OC. The famous overclocker of Team EVGA, Biso Biso, played with a couple of EVGA’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN graphics cards and the results are finally here. The BIOS “XOC” NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti custom, pushes the power limit to almost 1000 W.
But before we get to the results, we need to talk about the impressive overclocking setup used to achieve these record-breaking results. The system consists of a motherboard EVGA Z690 KINGPIN DARK. Then we have one Intel Core i9-12900K CPU running up to 5.4GHz on a configuration 8+2 core. Finally, a memory pair Trident Z5 G.Skill running at speed DDR5-6400 (CL32) and all in an extreme custom cycle configuration. The two EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards used cooling LN2 complete with custom cookware and a Noctua fan to keep electrical components under control. The card duo has a total of 4 x 16-pin power connectors (2 per graphics card). This meant that the GPUs had to be powered through two drives PSU EVGA SuperNova 1600W T2 separate.
Each card was linked with a total of six 8-pin connectors to power the dual 16-pin adapters. This is a total of twelve 8-pin connectors leading from the power supply to four 16-pin connectors. We have been told that every EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN it consumed over 1200 Watts of power. So with two tabs, I’m over 2500 Watt of power for GPUs only.
Precisely we will have:
Coming to the test results, the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards have been tested in various 3DMark GPU benchmarks and Unigine Superposition.
What’s even more impressive is that the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN has managed to reach almost 3 GHz with a maximum GPU clock speed reported at 2925 MHz. This is a big milestone for NVIDIA’s flagship GPU. The graphics card worked mostly in sub-zero temperatures at around 40°C thanks to LN2 cooling. The memory was able to reach clock speeds of up to 12.000 MHz o 24 Gbps. That’s 1,152 TB / s of bandwidth produced through a +1500 MHz overclock.
That said, the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 The KINGPIN it’s definitely a crazy technical marvel from the EVGA team, making it a great product for overclockers. For gamers, it may not be as practical given its own high price and limited nature, but products like these show the true potential that GPUs have within them.
