Facebook Reels finally available worldwide

Short contents pull, there is nothing else to add. And we would like to say it today because Meta has finally made available all over the world i Facebook Reels. After having depopulated on Instagram, therefore, the TikTok-style videos also arrive on Facebook, ready to conquer users and creators. In particular, the latter will be able to take advantage of this the release of the new function to retain their followers and find some interesting monetization opportunities. But let’s find out more about the new format also arriving in Italy.

Facebook Reels: Everything we know about the new feature

“Videos are now nearly half the time people spend on Facebook and Instagram, and Reels is our fastest growing content format. We want Reels to be the best solution for creators to make themselves known, keep in touch with their audience and make money. We also want people to be able to find and share relevant and engaging content in a simple and fun way. ” So Meta announced the new Facebook Reels feature, which will allow users and creators to access new – and interesting – editing options. Beyond the 60 second reelsit will also be possible to create a Remix that includes another creator’s Reels – so as to increase visibility -.

In addition, the platform may release new ones in the coming months video clipping tools to further improve the quality of shared content. And not only. To increase the visibility of the contents, Meta will make them appear in the Stories, at the top of the Feed with a specific label, in the Watch screen and in the Users Feed. In short, Facebook seems willing to focus on short content, probably to be able to win the competition with TikTok. In this regard, the platform will also offer new ones possibility of monetization for creators. As things stand, the Reels Play bonus program already pays content producers up to $ 35,000 a month, based on Reels’ views. But now Meta will extend “the bonus program to other countries, so that even more creators can be rewarded for creating the reels their communities love.”

But that is not all. Monetization appears to be a key element of new content. The same company reports that “it is testing direct monetization options for Facebook Reels in revenue shares from advertisements and fan support”. The subject of the test will be two formats: “advertising banners that appear as semi-transparent overlays at the bottom of Facebook Reel, and ads with stickers: a static image that can be placed by the creator anywhere on his reel”. In essence, an additional source of income for content creators. But there is still another novelty. Facebook will test the “Stelle” sui Reels. In this way, people will be able to “support their creators by purchasing and sending them Stars while they look at their reels”.

In short, the Facebook Reels are a novelty much awaited by everyone. Especially from creators around the world, who will be able to take advantage of new monetization options. But also by platform users, increasingly fascinated by short content. Indeed, very short.
