FIFA has launched its new product: FIFA +, a platform that, starting today, Tuesday 12 April, will give access to live matches from all over the world, interactive games, news, information on tournaments, revolutionary video content to offer a global narrative of men’s and women’s football and much more. FIFA is the first sports federation in history to offer its fans a streaming content experience of this magnitude.
“FIFA + is the next step in realizing our vision of making football truly global and inclusive, and underpins FIFA’s core mission to expand and develop football globally,” said the FIFA president. Gianni Infantino. “This project represents a cultural shift in the way different types of football fans want to explore and connect with world football and has been a key part of my vision for 2020-2023. It will accelerate the democratization of football and we are delighted to share this project with the fans. “
Partite live:
By the end of 2022, the platform will stream the equivalent of 40,000 live matches a year from 100 football federations from all six confederations, including 11,000 women’s football matches. There will be live coverage of both major European leagues and lesser-known competitions from around the world, with men’s, women’s and youth football matches. From the moment of launch, 1,400 games will be broadcast on FIFA + every month, a share that will then increase rapidly.
FIFA + archive:
Ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, FIFA + will host every match ever filmed from all of the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup ™ in history, for a total of more than 2,000 hours of archival content. This comprehensive archive will be available to fans for the first time in history. Fans will be able to watch entire games, highlights, goals and magical moments in one place. At launch, more than 2,500 videos dating back to the 1950s will be available in the FIFA + Archive, plus many more will be added over the course of the year.
Match Center, news and games:
The Match Center will allow football fans to explore a wealth of football data from 400 men’s and 65 women’s competitions. In addition, a daily news feed on men’s and women’s football from around the world will complement the offering by providing further updates. Throughout the year, fans can enjoy interactive games, including voting, quizzes, fantasy competitions and predictions.
FIFA + Originals:
FIFA + will also deliver unprecedented content by offering a global narrative of men’s and women’s football. It will present feature films and documentary series, talk shows and short films (localized in 11 languages) that tell a wide range of stories, from small local realities to national teams and football heroes of yesterday and today, set in more than 40 villages.
In 2022, the contents of the FIFA + platform will continue to grow and evolve, offering new products of global and local interest throughout the year.

The platform will be available on mobile and web devices, and shortly thereafter on a range of connected devices. It will be available in five languages (English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish), with another six languages to be added in June 2022.
