Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is available on Steam and Mobile

In a press release, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is now available in Europe on Steam and mobile devices

Meanwhile Square Enix is ​​currently working on titles of the caliber of Final Fantasy XVI and part 2 of Final Fantasy VII Remake, the roundup of the Pixel Remaster versions of the various chapters of Final Fantasy continues. Although they are still released exclusively on Steam and mobile platforms, Final Fantasy VI is also now currently available in Europe for purchase. Fans, but also those who have never played the original chapter, can rediscover this unforgettable RPG in a 2D pixel remaster version, with completely reworked graphics and audio. The sixth chapter is one of the most beloved and includes a wide range of playable characters, all with their own stories, their goals and their destinies. You will be able to customize the abilities, spells and Esper invocations of each party member thanks to the magilite system.

For the first time, this new version of Final Fantasy VI will also include one masterful reinterpretation of the beloved opera scene with new voices and animations. You can review this iconic scene with voices in Japanese, Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Korean. In addition, there are all the improvements included in the Pixel Remaster versions, including:

  • Updated 2D pixel graphicsincluding the unmistakable Final Fantasy character designs created by Kazuko Shibuya, the original artist who also collaborated on this collection;
  • Rearranged soundtrack in Final Fantasy style, under the supervision of the original composer, Nobuo Uematsu;
  • Improved gameplay which includes a modernized interface, automatic combat options and more;
  • General improvements: contents of the bestiary, gallery, music player.
