Fujifilm Instax Pal: according to TIME it is the best invention of 2023

Instax Pal, the new handheld camera from FUJIFILM has won recognition from the American TIME magazine as Best Invention of 2023 in the Special Mention section

FUJIFILM is proud to announce that the INSTAX Pal handheld camera, the latest model in the INSTAX series, is one of the BEST INVENTIONS of 2023, according to the American TIME magazine in the Special Mention section. The “THE BEST INVENTIONS” award focuses on growing sectors such as artificial intelligence, green energy and sustainability and collects nominations from TIME editors and correspondents around the world.

Products and ideas are evaluated based on a number of key factors, including originality, effectiveness, ambition and impact. TIME’s annual TOP INVENTIONS list includes “200 Extraordinary Life-Changing Innovations” and “50 Honorable Mention Inventions.”

INSTAX Pal, which we were able to try and review, is the first model in the INSTAX series specialized in “shooting”. By separating the printing function from the camera, it achieves this compact size to fit in the palm of your hand. It’s easy to carry and makes the photography experience even more fun and accessible.

By connecting the INSTAX PAL to a smartphone via Bluetooth, captured images are automatically transferred to a dedicated smartphone app and saved as an image with an INSTAX frame. Additionally, by connecting via Bluetooth to the INSTAX Link smartphone printer series and the INSTAX mini Evo and INSTAX mini LiPlay hybrid instant cameras, users can enjoy INSTAX instant film photo printing.
