Gamescom 2021: Halo Infinite release date revealed

This evening the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night was held and during the presentation a new trailer of Halo Infinite was finally shown, complete with a release date.

It has not been long since E3 2021, but apparently we are already in the midst of the new great event dedicated to video games. In fact, this evening is underway the 2021 edition of Gamescom, one of the most important annual trade shows in the gaming industry. Yesterday the event was inaugurated byXbox Games Showcase Microsoft, while today the Opening Night Live organized by Geoff Keighley is broadcast.

Over the course of today’s show we have seen so many different titles and surprisingly also the long awaited one spearhead from Microsoft made its appearance. In fact, during the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night we had the opportunity to review Halo Infinite with a new trailer and, as if that weren’t enough, the release date was also revealed.

Halo Infinite returns to show itself on the stage of the Xbox Games Showcase

Many were expecting news about Halo during yesterday’s Showcase, but apparently Microsoft has decided to wait for the Opening Night Live. It’s been quite a while now since the game’s last real trailer and luckily today we finally got to see all the progress made by 343 Industries. In addition the company also has unveiled the official release date of the game, that is on December 8th 2021.

Halo Infinite will be available from December 8 for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
