Goodram: expanded the range of external SSDs with the new HL200

The Goodram company has finally expanded its range of external SSDs, with the arrival of the new Goodram HL200

Goodram does not slow down and just a few weeks after the successful launch of the PX600 PCIe 4 x4 NVMe SSD, it announces another new product in the Goodram SSD family. It is an external unit called Goodram HL200, the successor to the well-known HL100 model. The new support is in line with the expectations of customers who need increasingly large and fast devices for data transfer and archiving.

Details on the new Goodram HL200 external SSD

Goodram HL200 is a pocket SSD available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB versions. The smoothness of the transfer is ensured by carefully selected components and matched specific specifications. Data reading and writing hover at 520 and 500 MB/s, respectively. Fast file transfer is enabled by the USB 3.2 gen interface. 2 Type C, among other things.

Goodram HL200 is not only an ideal memory expansion or data storage for laptops and PCs. HL200 should also be appreciated by console owners. The external drive is an ideal device for storing and transporting your favorite games.

Its small and ergonomic case, with dimensions resembling those of a credit card, allows the unit to be carried comfortably even in a pocket or small handbag. Which further underlines the mobility of this solution. Taking into account the usefulness of the portable unit in travel and in everyday life, we can safely speak of HL200 as an indispensable and extremely useful gadget of our time.

Multi-stage testing and branded components ensure high and stable write and read speeds even under intensive operation of the device. As a result, 4K video, high resolution photos or large datasets can be transferred to the drive in seconds.

Unlike disk drives, solid-state drives (SSDs) have no moving parts, reducing the risk of mechanical damage. The HL200’s rugged housing ensures data security even if it is accidentally dropped, or when used in harsh conditions, such as traveling or outdoors.

In addition, SSD drives consume much less energy than classic magnetic drives. For anyone using a laptop or other portable device, this means more battery life on a single battery charge. For your convenience, the drive comes with two cables: USB Type A to USB Type C and a double-sided USB Type-C cable.
