The release of the physical edition of GTA Trilogy has been postponed due to various technical issues encountered with the digital versions of the game

After the announcement of the return of the classic versions on PC, Rockstar Games has announced that theexit of GTA Trilogy in physical edition was postponed. GTA Trilogy, whose saga has always been known for its particular gameplay and cheats, contains three of the best-known chapters of the franchise: Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

Initially, the release of the (now postponed) physical edition of GTA Trilogy was scheduled for December 7, quasi a month later the launch of the digital version. Rockstar Games was forced to postpone the release in the physical stores of the game precisely because of the problems of the digital version: the manufacturer realized too many bugs in the games (which it is trying to correct with ad hoc patches) , and therefore would consider too much premature the arrival on the shelves of the game.

The release dates for the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition have changed.

Xbox Series X / Xbox One and PS4 will now release on December 17. The Nintendo Switch version is coming in early 2022.

When, then, will we be able to hold our physical copy of GTA Trilogy in our hands? We will have to wait another ten days for the version for Xbox Series X, Xbox One e PS4: the new release date is December 17. For the physical edition on Nintendo Switch, instead, we will have to wait for the new year: the release is in fact scheduled for i early 2022. We just have to wait, and see if the company will keep its promise (and above all it will fix all the bugs in the game before the physical release).
