Halo Infinite: The team seeks a microtransaction expert for multiplayer

According to what has emerged in the past few hours, 343 Industries has been looking for an expert for months microtransazioni for the management of in-game purchases of the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite. The software house would be looking for the right person from October, but has not yet identified a profile suitable for the needs of the new chapter of Halo.

Halo Infinite: The team is looking for a microtransaction expert

343 Industries’ goal would be to create an in-game store engaging and sustainable (whatever that means) and to do so he needs an expert in the field; expert who apparently is having a hard time identifying. It is clear that the software house is not satisfied with the current offer of his Online shop, but it is unclear what changes he would like to implement to improve it.

According to the study itself, the new employee will have to: “improve and develop new sustainable monetization systems in line with our vision of Halo Infinite and our respect for our players’ time as well as their monetary investment”. The candidate will also be busy: “coordinating with the design and art teams to develop a strategic plan for the creation of in-game items and to guide regular updates of the in-game store”.

Despite this description, the outlines of the tasks that the professional figure sought by 343 Industries are somewhat smoky, perhaps also due to a lack of experience in this field by the company. It is no coincidence that Halo Infinite’s microtransactions have not failed to raise a fair amount of fuss over the past few weeks.

There have been many fans who have complained that the prices are too high cosmetic items offered by the game’s online store. Suffice it to say that a simple shader is sold for 8 dollars and a full armor for 20; a decidedly unsustainable tariff for users. We therefore hope that the right person arrives, given that at the moment the microtransactions in Halo Infinite are nothing short of poorly managed from the point of view of the public.
