Team17 and Black Matter have announced that Hell Let Loose, the 50 vs 50 team strategy shooter set during World War II, will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S on October 5th. The game, already released on PC this summer, will feature cross-play functionality between the two consoles and with ten maps and two distinctive game modes: Offensive and Warfare.
Pre-orders for Hell Let Loose on Xbox Series X | S open today from 7pm while PlayStation 5 owners will be able to take part in an open beta for the game, which will take place from 16 to 20 September. According to the official release, the PlayStation 5 beta will provide a brutal experience for players, as only the Warfare mode will be available, which sees each side starting the battle occupying half of the map.
From there, users will have to fend off enemy forces and conquer territory until they reach their base, or hold most of the terrain until time runs out. At launch, Warfare will be joined by the mode Offensive in which one team plays the role of attacker while the other will have to defend their base.
