Durante i The Game Awards 2021, Ninja Theory showed a new gameplay trailer for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, which did not fail to leave us speechless as regards the graphic rendering of the game, made entirely with the graphics engine Unreal Engine 5. There was also congratulating the team on the results achieved with Hellblade 2 Hideo Kojima.
Apparently, Hideo Kojima was really impressed by Hellblade 2, as evidenced by his recent tweet, in which the designer shared the trailer released by Ninja Theory expressing his appreciation with a series of emoticons. Not exactly the reaction many would have expected, but Metal Gear’s dad rarely takes such strong stances.
A demonstration of appreciation that, moreover, did not go unnoticed in that of Ninja Theory, given that the English studio he promptly thanked Kojima for the support, responding with a gif of Sam Porter Bridges, the protagonist of Death Stranding, in a pose of exultation.
On the other hand, so much enthusiasm should not be surprising, given that compared to the first chapter of the series the software house seems to have made great strides, first of all as regards the technical side. In fact, it can be said that the spotlight is now on this production, and a certain expectation begins to breathe in the air for what Ninja Thoery is preparing behind the scenes.
We remind you that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 does not yet have a well-defined launch window, a sign that the production is still in full swing. What we know for sure, however, is that it will be a Microsoft exclusive and that it should propose an enhanced version of the playful formula already tested with the first chapter.
