High Isle Preview: New adventure coming to The Elder Scrolls Online

Inhabitants of Tamriel, here we are! A new adventure of The Elder Scrolls Online is about to arrive and like every year for 8 adventurous years, we will be ready. This time, the protagonists of the new expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online will be, as the name suggests, the High Isle, the islands of the Bretons. Here, the war of Tamriel has reached a new level and the nobles of the islands are trying to resolve it in the most peaceful way possible, but the difficulties are many and unpredictable and we will have to play our part to restore the situation in the islands. Our preview of The Elder Scrolls Online High Isle

For this adventure, we’ve created a new one to explore the opportunities and threats of the High Isle. Our awakening takes place in the prisons ofBalfiera island where the young woman Norianwe will guide us in a short quest which will serve as a tutorial. At the end of the mission we will find ourselves in front of a series of portals that connect the island to the various areas of Tamriel (available depending on the packages purchased) including, of course, the new area of ​​the High Isle.

It is about a region never touched within The Elder Scrolls saga and for this reason our curiosity was very high. Once on the islands, we are greeted by Lady Arabelle Davaux, a local noble who will ask for our help to shed some light on disappearance of three caravels which would play an important role in the subsequent events that would take place on the island. Here, in fact, the nobles are trying to find peace by organizing a Summit among the nobles and influential people of Tamriel, but good intentions inevitably attract conspirators and other threats.

The islands are indeed infested with pirates, an order of violent and corrupt knights and all the intrigues of a high-ranking, highly influential High Isle society. Thus begins for our hero a series of events, missions and unpublished places to explore full of details and surprises. From the main, quiet and civilized island to Love us, an extremely wild nearby island that served as a prison. But High Isle is also a safe haven for the nobility, as well as a tourist destination for the wealthiest. Kynareth alone knows what this explosive mix could bring!

Among other novelties to explore

During our preview of The Elder Scrolls Online High Isle we got to savor the news of the expansion. Although this is not one of the richest expansions published to date, we find a series of new features that enrich the game. First of all is the novelty of the region of the Systres archipelago, which never appeared, except by third means, in an episode of The Elder Scrolls. This gives space to many opportunities but also some risks, having to recreate the region of the Bretons from scratch.

The result is however surprising and the settings have, once again, been well thought out and created and the combination of marine, pirate but also wild nature and nobility themes is successful and engaging.

Among the additions of High Isle we also find a new Trial, which we will tell you in the full review, but also a new local event, new companions and even a new mini card game in game called Tales of Tribute.
