In the past few hours and after the large amount of information from Gamescom, the official Steam page of Hogwarts Legacy has been updated with the requirements of the PC version: let’s see them together
From the stage of the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2022, a lot of information has arrived on Hogwarts Legacy, the open-world title dedicated to Harry Potter fans. Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros, the title will (hopefully) arrive on February 10, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch. In the past few hours, the official Steam page has been updated with the minimum and recommended requirements for the PC version and, I assure you, we were amazed at the rather high end that Hogwarts Legacy will need to run at high performance. And we’re seriously wondering how the heck will it run on Nintendo Switch.
Of course it is true that we are still talking about an open-world action that will also run on next-gen, so that the recommended requirements are rather high-end was to be expected. And it is also true that, although we were amazed, among the minimum requirements we find a GTX 1070, which is still a graphics card from six years ago. And it was also among the Elden Ring minimum requirements, so to speak. And we also add that by “minimum”, in this case, Warner Bros has meant a resolution of 1080p and 60fps. We’ll see if they really keep these standards.
