You can also take a look at the Hogwarts Legacy Notes Compilation. In general, the press has valued the title in a remarkable/excellent way on its arrival on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

We may not have Quidditch, but at Hogwarts Legacy there are all the basic elements to make a Harry Potter fan fall in love: fantastic animals, exploration, magic classes, wand duels… and, yes, the Sorting Hat.

Which house will you choose in Hogwarts Legacy? It depends on you, but you should know that it is possible to change the choice of the Sorting Hat easily. We teach you how to do it in this guide.

Changing houses after choosing the Sorting Hat

Once you have beaten the Hogwarts Legacy prologue, Professor Black will take you to the school dining room to attend the initiation ceremony. You will meet Professor Weasley and the legendary Sorting Hat.

If you’ve seen the Harry Potter movies, you’ll surely remember the mythical scene in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, in which our protagonist wishes to belong to Gryffindor, despite the fact that the choice of the hat was Slytherin.

Well, in Hogwarts Legacy it is also possible to change the choice of the Sorting Hat. The ceremony is based on two question/answer sessionswhich you will solve in a couple of minutes.

First of all, these are the four houses of hogwarts to which you can belong:

  • Gryffindor
  • Slytherin
  • Hufflepuff
  • Ravenclaw

As you sit down and place the Hat on your head, it will begin to wonder which house you should belong to. that’s when the first batch of answers will arrive (there are only two options).

Con ”I’m looking forward to start classes”You will show the Hat that you are a model student, who puts learning ahead of exploring every corner of Hogwarts. You will totally prove the opposite if you choose “I really want to explore”.

in a way the first answer conditions (partly) the choice. For example, if you choose to explore you are leaning towards Gryffindor, while the first answer connects with Ravenclaw.

That’s when you’ll get to the second round, which is absolutely decisive. You will have to choose between these four options:

  • Audacity
  • Curiosity
  • Loyalty
  • Ambition

Once you answer, the Sorting Hat will offer you to belong to a specific Hogwarts house. If you’ve answered Ambition, it’s quite possible that you’ll ”fall” into Slytherin, while Loyalty will land you in Hufflepuff (most likely).

The Sorting Hat will make its judgment. that’s when you can accept that house, or press the circle (on PS5) to choose another house. You can pass the cursor over each one and read the motto of each one.

Choose the one you like, and then the choice of the Sorting Hat will be on deaf ears. After all, a magician must be very clear about which house he belongs to, right?

Hogwarts Legacy goes on sale starting February 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (April 4 on PS4 and Xbox One, and July 25 on Switch), but from today it is possible to play if you reserved the Deluxe Edition or the Collector’s Edition of the title.
