Well, the first thing we have to do is advance in the story of this DLC until you have reached the third main mission called “The stars in their eyes”. This is easy, since the gauntlet will be given to you at the end of said mission.
However, improving it is already an optional task, so to do it we will have to beat a side quest. Go to the doomed shore to talk to Otosu and he will give you the quest “At His Steps”.
When you get the improvement you must look for any workbench with which to carry out the readjustment and get the gauntlet of the improved Specter. What this upgrade does is install a node that unlocks a railgun. By the way, you also unlock a trophy.
