The month of November was characterized by many offers culminating in Black Friday and Cyber Monday. A new idealo survey highlights some data from this promotional period. As for purchase intentions, the Italians who chose Black Friday for their online purchases were 25% more than the average of the other days of the Black Week. Furthermore, in November there was a + 23% growth in purchase intentions compared to the previous month.
During the “black month” Sunday was the preferred time for online shopping with a peak of interactions recorded on November 14th, the day on which a data similar to that of Black Friday was recorded. The shopper profile identified by the idealo survey is clear.
In 59% it is a man and in 27% of cases a person between 35 and 44 years. 76% of searches are done from mobile, mainly from 21 to 22. During Black Friday, however, the attention of users was very high from 8 to 22.
The queen of Black Friday is the Nintendo Switch followed by the Fifa 22 game. Among the smartphones leads iPhone 12 that precedes several other models made by Apple which are confirmed as the most desired of all among users looking for a new mobile device.
. Appliances are Black Month winners. Compared to October, searches are growing for food processors with tripled interest (+ 202%), dryers (+ 186%), vacuum cleaners (+ 145%), dishwashers (+ 137%) and ovens (+134) %).
