IIDEA, the Association representing the video game industry in Italy, and Ninetynine, an agency specializing in communication, marketing and events, today announce important news for Round One, which will live in Turin on 5 and 6 October next at OGR Turin.
To coordinate and animate the works of the boxes of Sala Duomo and Sala Fucine there will be two exceptional hosts: Bryan Ronzani – radio speaker, presenter of major esports and gaming events in Italy and founder of The Box, the first lateshow on Twitch – and Lorena Rusu – Professional host di Teamfight Tactics.
The agenda of the two days foresees the realization of over 20 talks and panels with leading Italian and international guests. The event will open at 9.30 on Tuesday 5 October with an institutional inaugural moment that will see the participation of the highest offices of IIDEA, and other important partners including Unicredit and the CRT Foundation.
The spotlight will then be on the opening speech of Damian Burns, Senior Vice President of EMEA di Twitch, which will tell us about the past, present and future of the most famous livestreaming service in the world.
Sala Fucine will host a panel in which buddybank and PG Esports will tell the secrets of the success of their collaboration, with the intervention of Manuel Perrone, Marketing & Products of buddybank, and Livia Braccini, Project Manager of PG Esports.
The Sala Duomo will instead be the venue, in the early afternoon, for a moment of in-depth study with Giusy Stanziola of Unicredit Start Lab, the entrepreneur and Angel Investor Fabrizio Perrone and Federico Smanio, CEO of Wylab, who will discuss how to launch and grow a successful startup also in the esports field.
Others are expected on the same day events of absolute importance such as the speech by Julien Dupont, Partnership Development Director of Fnatic, who will speak in the afternoon on the stage of Sala Duomo and Bernardo Corradi who, with the moderation of Simone “Akira” Trimarchi, will talk about the uniqueness of the PLB Esports project. In the afternoon, moreover, a speech by Giorgio “Pow3R” Calandrelli is scheduled to explain what it means to be a content creator in 2021.
