The new British mod of the famous Bethesda franchise does not yet have a release date, but a trailer has been released that shows us the first images.
The rumors about the original soundtrack of the new mod come directly from Dean Carter, current project leader of the Fallout franchise. Interviewed by NME Carter stated that the development team of the mod has worked on about 45 unreleased songs that take inspiration from British music of the 50s and 60s. Here are the words of him:
“One of the songs we like the most is a song called Nuclear Submarine, which is obviously a reference to Yellow Submarine. And then there is also another song that is inspired by Bowie, evoking his musical style but staying on the Fallout theme ”. Carter then added that “one of the songs is about the different subway stations”.
Fallout is a franchise developed by Bethesda, much loved by gamers, set in a post-apocalyptic scenario of the 50s. The first chapter of the game was released in 1997, and during the various sequels it has always implemented references to music, acquiring the licenses of numerous songs and creating in-game radio stations.
“In the new mod we will introduce the character of Nigel The Nihilist, a radio DJ. He will have recorded lines that will follow the actions of the players and introduce the songs played on the radio, ”concluded Carter.
