INDIE Live Expo 2022 is back: it will be held in winter and will reveal more than 400 new games

With two days of events dedicated to the art of independent videogames, INDIE Live Expo 2022 revealed more than 400 new titles, including world premieres, trailers, surprise launches and more. The appointment is confirmed for this winter, where the event will return in a Winter version. Let’s find out some of the games revealed during this two days.

INDIE Live Expo 2022: two days and over 400 new video games

Numerous developers have participated in one or both days. Here are some of the most interesting titles, trailers and previews proposed during the event:

  • Azure Striker GUNVOLT 3: the developers of INTI Creates have revealed the new trailer for the latest chapter of GUNVOLT, out on Thursday 28 July.
  • Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER: presented the new trailer of the new episode of the highly appreciated point and click cyberpunk sauce by CHORUS Interactive and MidBoss.
  • Craftopia: announced the new update during the first day of the event.
  • Palworld: Pocketpair (the same developers as Craftopia) returned on day two for the world premiere of the new Palworld trailer. The game will consist of survival crafting-style open-world multiplayer. The trailer was much discussed at the event for its provocative touch.
  • Lost Epic: A 2D Souls-style side scrolling action RPG, developed by EARTH WARS and published by One or Eight. It will be released on July 28 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam).
  • The Use of Life: An RPG announced by PLAYSIM and developed by Daraneko Games
  • DRAINUS: PLAYISM also announced the surprise launch of DRAINUS, the new game from Team Ladybug, now available on Steam.
  • TOKOYO: The Tower of Perpetuity: An action platformer developed by // commentoout. Announced the early access on Steam pending the release on the Nintendo Switch fixed for Thursday 2 June.
  • NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD: a psychological horror by WSS that, after the success for PC, will be released on October 27 for Nintendo Switch.

Other announcements included: Meg’s Monster, KUUKIYOMI: Consider It! ONLINE, BOKURA and Goonya Monster.

The appointment is now for the winter, with a date yet to be revealed, for the’INDIE Live Expo Winter 2022.
