Fujifilm this morning announced the new sublimation smartphone printer instax Link Wide. The new small printer joins the models already present in the range by offering a different print format. The name Wide is more than a clue, in fact, we are in front of a device that prints in the cloth formatrfriend 62x99mm.
The new instax Link Wide measures 139 × 127.5 × 33.7mm, weighs only 340 grams and comes with an elegant design. Equipped with a large battery, it is able to make up to 100 prints with a single charge. Inside, the films of the Wide 300 are inserted and the time required to obtain a Wide snapshot is 12 seconds.
Through the free instax Link Wide app you connect to the printer via Bluetooth and you can immediately start printing the images we have in our smartphone gallery. Within the app we also find several functions and creative options to customize photos.
instax Link Wide is not only designed for those who want to print the images on their phone, but also for Fujifilm X-S10 owners. In fact, with this camera it is possible to send images directly to the printer without going through the smartphone.
Designed to be a tool that is easy to use and to always carry around, the new instax printer through the dedicated app also allows you to select two different printing modes. There is the modality Rich which accentuates the colors and makes the images much more vivid. And then there is Natural, which, as the name suggests, is more devoted to the naturalness of the result.
With instax Link Wide it is possible to make Collage, being able to choose between different layout possibilities. But not just collages, there are also editable templates, through which you can add shapes, words and give free rein to your creativity.
Among the many options available there is also the print from video. In fact, you can easily extrapolate a frame from a video and print it. Obviously it is possible to customize it with stickers, frames and all the other available options. But it doesn’t stop there, because there is another very practical printing option: the QR Code mode. Thanks to it it is possible to add a QR code to the print, which once scanned allows you to access a web link, to a geotagged location or to record a sound or a message.
The new instax Link Wide Bluetooth printer will be available in two different colors: Ash White and Mocha Gray. By accessing the instax website it will be possible to purchase it from the end of October to suggested retail price of € 149.99.
