Intel introduces the Intel Arc Pro A60 and Pro A60M GPUs, new products in the Intel Arc Pro A-series professional range. They offer a significant performance boost over the Arc Pro family. They’re also specifically designed for professional workstation users with up to 12GB of video memory (VRAM) and support for quad displays with HDR and Dolby Vision.
With hardware ray tracing, graphics acceleration, and built-in machine learning capabilities, Intel Arc Pro A60 GPU brings together smooth viewports; the latest visual technologies and rich content creation in a traditional single slot format.
Compared with existing products, Intel Arc Pro A60 and A60M double all the functional and performance characteristics; with 16 PCIe lanes, 384 gigabytes per second of bandwidth and memory and 256 dedicated AI Xe Matrix Extension (XMX) engines and 16 ray tracing units. They also come with full media encoding and decoding support, including AV1.
Features that make Intel Arc Pro GPUs ideal for CAD/CAM design and modeling, AI inferencing tasks, and multimedia processing in dedicated professional environments.
Intel Arc Pro GPUs are supported by drivers released quarterly for constant performance optimization. They are also ISV1 certified for key workstation applications used in the architecture, construction engineering, design and manufacturing industries. Between these:
Intel workstation GPUs are also optimized for multimedia and entertainment applications such as Blender. Run ray tracing and rendering libraries in the Intel oneAPI Rendering Toolkit to enable the creation of high-performance visual experiences and high-fidelity on a grand scale.
The Intel Arc Pro A60 GPU for desktop workstations will be available from Intel Authorized Distributors in the coming weeks. Instead, the Intel Arc Pro A60M GPU for mobile systems will be available from OEM partners in the coming months. Other workstations with Intel Arc Pro A40 GPUs are already available from HPwith Dell and Lenovo to follow in Q3 2023.
