A few weeks ago Apple officially released the new ones iPhone 13, but it seems that the first reports of the iPhone 14 series are already emerging. What attracted the attention of users were in particular some renders of the iPhone 14 Pro published on the web, which show a very different design of the device from the current one, which has remained unchanged from 2017. Of course this is a leak, so do not give 100% credit to this information.
According to what can be seen in the renderings, the iPhone 14 Pro will completely abandon the famous notch, in favor of a punch-hole camera, now also implemented on Android smartphones for many years. Furthermore, we are faced with a perforated display with a cutout in the center, a rather unusual element in smartphones and that is rarely seen on the market.
The iPhones 14 will also keep the function of Face ID, with obviously all the sensors attached, but the front camera will not have a notch in favor of a simple hole, exactly as seen in its Android competitors such as Samsung or Huawei. Finally, we remind you that a report suggested that smartphones in the 2022 range would be equipped with memory flash QLC.
These renders have generated some confusion in the leaker landscape. For example, the well-known insider PandalsBald stated in a post, which was then promptly deleted, that it is highly unlikely that Apple will abandon the notch design in favor of a perforated cutout. However, the fact that the leaker immediately deleted the post suggests that he may have been wrong and that he has received certain news about it in the meantime.
In any case, for the moment the information still comes with the dropper and we will realistically have to wait a long time for an official communication from Apple.
