They arrive the first color images of the iPhone 14images that carry with them an important confirmation: the notch – or notch, if you prefer – will disappear. To replace it we find a small hole and a small crushed oval, which will house the camera and the sensors necessary for unlocking with the face.
Showing these renders is David Kowalski, known on Twitter as @xleaks7 and known for the reliability of the information it disseminates. To him, for example, we owe the first images of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Pixel 5.
iPhone 14 it should hit the market in the fall. As has been happening for some years now, the Apple smartphone will not be alone. The nomenclature is not yet clear but, apparently, the mini variant should disappear to make room for another “Max” model. This means we should have iPhone 14 and 14 Pro with 6.1-inch display and then iPhone 14 Max and 14 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch panel. All versions they will leave the notch, leaving room for the small hole and what is called a “pill”, that is a sort of small flattened oval. This solution will naturally allow you to keep both the front camera and all the sensors necessary for FaceID, the unlocking technology with Apple’s face.
All the rest seems to be unchanged from iPhone 13. Therefore, neither the camera module positioned on the back nor the buttons will change but, on the other hand, we will have some news under the hood such as the new 48 megapixel sensor, support for 8K videos and a renewed processor.
